Short answer: In the last two weeks, ClaimMyJob (Claim My Job) shipped resume templates and one resume per role, a portfolio website that is free for life, job matches that put your role first, and free ATS checks on every plan. Here is everything that changed and how to use it.
Resumes: templates, one per role, and a PDF that stays current
- The Resume Maker is free. The builder and the PDF download cost nothing on any plan. AI tailoring still uses your monthly credits.
- Three templates. Pick Classic or Harvard for applications that go through an applicant tracking system (both are ATS-safe, with real selectable text), or Modern, a two-column design with an optional photo. Modern is labelled "Not for ATS", because two columns and a photo can confuse tracking systems.
- A resume per role (paid plans). Keep up to three resumes, for example one for Product Manager and one for Program Manager. Each has its own title, job titles and PDF.
- Auto-apply picks the right resume. When a job's title clearly matches one of your resumes' job titles, the Chrome extension attaches that resume. Anything unclear gets your main resume, as before.
- The PDF is ready when you press Save. The first Save makes the PDF and every later Save remakes it, so auto-apply and email outreach never send an old file.
- Cleaner file names. Downloads are named like
Aanya_Product_Manager.pdf, from the resume's title. - Bullets that read like a person wrote them. The AI tailor rewrites only bullets that sound machine-made, and it never invents numbers. Where a bullet has no figure, it suggests a typical estimate for you to change to your real number, and nothing is applied until you confirm it.
- Word resumes in onboarding. New users can upload a Word (.docx) file as well as a PDF.
Portfolio: a free website, now with Quest and Badge
Every account can publish a portfolio page at claimmyjob.com/p/your-name, built from the profile you already filled in. It is free on every plan.
- Two new looks. Quest shows your career as a game level with a player card, and Badge puts your photo on an ID card that swings on a lanyard. They join Aurora (3D particles), Editorial, Terminal and Studio.
- Live previews. The theme picker shows your own page in each look before you save.
- Ready after onboarding. Finishing setup saves a private draft, and the last onboarding screen shows it live.
- One photo, two places. Reuse your portfolio photo on a Modern resume, or the other way round, and keep them separate afterwards.
See what it includes on the free portfolio website page.
Jobs: your role first, then your city
- Role-first ranking. Best matches, For You and the weekly job email now list jobs in your target role first, then similar roles, and within each group your city, the rest of your country, remote jobs and then abroad.
- Fewer wrong matches. Jobs that only share a word with your title ("Product Marketing" for a Product Manager), and director or VP roles when you are not at that level, no longer count as your exact role.
- More India jobs. Claim My Job now scans the India openings of 56 large employers' career sites, including Accenture, Cisco, NVIDIA, Salesforce, Adobe, GSK and Morgan Stanley.
- Weekly job matches by email. Up to five new matches a week on application systems the extension can fill. Weeks with fewer than three are skipped, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Free tools and clearer limits
- ATS checks are free on every plan. The ATS Score Checker in the dashboard is free, with a fair-use cap of 100 a month. The public ATS checker still works without an account, twice a day.
- Limits that explain themselves. When a monthly limit runs out, you see what ran out, when it resets and what each higher plan gives for that feature, instead of an error.
How to try the new features
- Sign in or create a free account.
- Open the Resume Maker to pick a template, and the Portfolio page to publish your page.
- Install the Chrome extension and open a job board from your dashboard to auto-apply on 20+ job boards.
Is ClaimMyJob the same as Claim My Job?
Yes. ClaimMyJob, claimmyjob.com and Claim My Job are the same product, made by Saberic Enterprises in India. However you type it, the website is www.claimmyjob.com and the extension is listed as Claim My Job on the Chrome Web Store. Plans and prices are on the pricing page.
